Foley Carrier Services Overview

Foley Carrier Services, a BirdDog company, is a leading provider of motor carrier solutions and drug free workplace programs in the United States. The company currently manages drug and alcohol testing, DOT compliance and transportation factoring programs for more than 18,000 companies of all types and sizes.

Foley was launched in 1992 with a handful of employees who provided drug and alcohol testing services to 50 clients who were members of a local association. Year after year, the company has grown its drug and alcohol testing client base while expanding its product and service offerings. In 2010, Foley joined the BirdDog family and began offering freight factoring services. Today, Foley employs more than 90 individuals at its Glastonbury, Conn., headquarters, and offers hundreds of products and services that can benefit all companies.

Vincent M. Picciarelli
Vincent M. Picciarelli | Vice President, Business Development

Vincent Picciarelli oversees all business development activities for Foley. He works closely with industry associations, traveling regularly to attend seminars and conferences and meet with business leaders across the country. Under his leadership the company has established and maintains a full schedule of both in-house and on-site training seminars on a variety of transportation and safety-related topics.
Roxanne J. Swidrak
Roxanne J. Swidrak | Vice President, Operations

Under the direction of Roxanne Swidrak, the company’s Operations Group has nearly tripled as new services have been added to assist clients. Swidrak brings a hands-on approach and has an intimate understanding of the internal procedures and protocols used by staff. She has a vast knowledge of the DOT regulations across all modalities as well as regulatory knowledge on a State level.
Raymond Nieuwenhuizen
Raymond Nieuwenhuizen | Vice President, Marketing, Professional Services & Logistics
Raymond Nieuwenhuizen manages BirdDog's professional services team and is responsible for the growth and operating performance of BirdDog's non-asset based freight management division. In addition, Nieuwenhuizen leads new product development, marketing, and communication initiatives in support of the company's rapid growth. He received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Marketing and International Management from The Hague University in The Netherlands, and a Master's of Business Administration from Syracuse University.
Matthew J. Wrobel
Matthew J. Wrobel| Vice President, Sales

Matthew Wrobel serves as the lead trainer for Foley. He has conducted hundreds of training sessions, seminars and speaking engagements across the country, including Supervisor Reasonable-Suspicion Training and The Role and Responsibilities of the DOT Drug and Alcohol Program Manager. In his position as Vice President, Wrobel is responsible for educating and motivating a continually growing staff of sales and compliance specialists.
Dale M. Bidwell
Dale M. Bidwell| Senior Operations Manager

Dale Bidwell is responsible for training and overseeing the Audit Support Staff in handling both client responsibilities and the requests for compliance verification from Federal and State Auditors. She is also responsible for overseeing the in-house training for staff preparing to take the C-SAPA examination. Her daily interaction with the Medical Review Officers (MROs), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) certified laboratories, Federal and State officials and with our staff and clients creates a knowledgeable professionalism at Foley.
