The Make-A-Wish Mother's Day Truck Convoy is an annual event organized by Make-A-Wish Philadelphia, Delaware, and Susquehanna Valley that brings together truckers, families, and supporters to grant wishes for children with critical illnesses.
Hundreds of trucks travel through Manheim, PA every year to raise funds and awareness for the organization. This year's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) "Click It or Ticket" campaign will be held May 22-June 4. The event aims to increase seat belt use and save lives on the road through increased enforcement of seat belt laws, and citations issued to drivers and passengers who aren't wearing them.

International Roadcheck, the annual 72-hour roadside inspection event, will take place May 14-16 throughout North America.
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has set the focus areas for 2024 Roadcheck as tractor protection systems and alcohol and controlled substance possession, but drivers and safety managers should be prepared for inspectors to check the entire interior and exterior of their commercial vehicles according to Level One inspection criteria.
