6/26/2009 - Foley Services Endorsed by the Massachusetts Motor Transportation Association Glastonbury, CT – Foley Services, Inc., one of the nation’s largest providers of DOT safety regulation compliance solutions, announced a welcome new endorsement of its DOT drug and alcohol testing programs from the Massachusetts Motor Transportation Association (MMTA). This is the latest in a long line of initiatives from Foley Services designed to further the needs of the motor carrier industry. Receiving an endorsement from an association as highly respected as MMTA is an important development for Foley Services. “The endorsement from MMTA means a great deal to Foley Services,” said Vice-President of Business Development Vincent Picciarelli. “We are both dedicated to the motor carrier industry and this partnership will allow us to grow together as we work for America’s motor carriers.” For MMTA, a willing spirit of partnership was an important quality to look for during the long search for a new service provider. “The Board of Directors spent significant resources on finding the best partner available to provide drug and alcohol testing and other compliance services to our members. MMTA is pleased to have Foley Services as our partner in providing this important benefit,” said MMTA Executive Director Anne Lynch. The endorsement will provide MMTA members access to Foley Services wide range of products and services at discounted prices. Available services include drug and alcohol testing, driver qualification file services and assistance with IFTA and permitting. Available products include a wide variety of forms and files, log books and regulation books. Many of these products and services have been recognized as the best in the industry by countless drivers, companies, and inspectors. MMTA announced the endorsement on May 21st at its Annual Spring Transportation Conference. Representing Foley Services was Picciarelli and Matthew Wrobel, Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. They were on hand to answer any questions as well as to introduce members of MMTA to the Foley Services’ staff and range of products and services. Foley Services hopes to drive some of its 18,000 clients to join MMTA and other partners of the American Trucking Associations. “It is very important to us that associations such as MMTA continue to thrive. It is vital that motor carriers continue to have such a vocal advocate, especially in these difficult economic times,” Picciarelli said. MMTA is a non-profit trade association lobbying the state of Massachusetts on behalf of the trucking industry. According to its website, in recent years MMTA has fought proposed increases in diesel fuel tax, fought against state and local road truck exclusions, and fought anti-idling laws during the cold New England winter. About Foley Services, Inc. Foley Services was founded in 1992 to provide drug and alcohol testing programs for a few local companies.
