Ohio Drug Free Workplace Training Program
You already see the value of a drug-free workplace and want to take advantage of the current workers compensation premium incentives offered by the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. Now, you want to implement the Ohio BWC Drug-Free Workplace Program.
With this objective in mind, Foley Services, Inc. has developed a comprehensive training package to help you get started and use the training package anytime in the future for required annual training, newly promoted supervisors and new employees.
This complete package includes four (4) training videos:
- Train the Trainer
- Employee Training
- Supervisor "How To" Training
- Supervisor Reasonable-Suspicion Training
The package also includes Employee Training Booklets (5) and Supervisor Training Booklets (2) and five (5) Certificates.
Video #1: Train the Trainer - This video provides a brief overview of each activity involved in developing and implementing effective practices for drug and alcohol testing and education.
Video #2: Employee Training - This training meets the mandatory two hours of intial and annual training for employees. It covers topics such as; company policy, effects of alcohol and drugs, problems presented by drugs and alcohol in the workplace and where you can go for help.
Video #3: Supervisor "How to" Training - This training along with the Supervisor Reasonable-Suspicion video meets the mandatory four yours of initial training for supervisors and fulfills the requirement for annual training as well. In this video the supervisor will learn how to; project the right attitude, talk about the employers policy with employees, handle pre-employment and new hire testing, post-accident testing and follow-up testing and handling a variety of situations that may occur during drug and alcohol testing process.
Video #4: Supervisor Reasonable-Suspicion Training - In this video supervisors will learn about ; why reasonable-suspicion testing is important, the role of the supervisor, indicators of probable alcohol and drug use, chronic and withdrawal effects of drugs and alcohol, how Reasonable-Suspicion testing should be conducted and filling out the forms.
